MUNA center of South Jamaica established with a vision to spread the message of Islam to the community. Self- development, Learn or practice Islam, serve the community, moreover to build a complete Islamic environment for our next generation, these are some ideas behind the foundation of this house of Allah. MUNA center of south Jamacia open the door for prayers and knowledge seeking community on March 18th, 2022. We are located in an area where emerging number of Muslim people reside, and numbers are increasing notably every single day and they were in need of such a complete Islamic center, where they will not just be able to pray but also learn more about Islam.
Activities of MUNA center of South Jamaica is not just limited to program that serve the need of Muslims. We are proud to serve need of local communities regardless how they pray. Distribute food, spreading the light of Islam are just few to name.
We, at our center offer different Islamic program for the kids to adult, with the help of expert teachers they are taught the holy Quran, Arabic language, Islamic knowledge, Islamic norms and culture. We arrange various program for the family kids throughout the year. Particularly any Islamic festival become a reason of joy for everyone at this center.
We, here at our center have facilities to offer prayer for our sisters. They have separate area, where they can pray for Friday prayer. During the month of holy Ramadan, sisters have the same facilities to offer Taraweeh at night.
Importantly, our service to the community is not limited to facilitate the prayer, along with that, our aim is to make sure the center work as a complete Islamic center that meet all types of need for our Muslim community in the neighborhood.
